【Introduction】

The 2018 Spring US-China Venture Summit will be held in Boston by the Boston Chinese Investment Club (BCIC), MIT China Development  Student Initiative (CDSI), DME-Health and NECINA on May 5th, 2018. The event is co-sponsored by multiple science and technology innovation parks in China to attract oversea start-up projects, help them to be exposed to Chinese capital, open up the Chinese market, or move to China for future development. This Summit will focus on recent hotspots in technological innovation areas, including artificial intelligence, biomedicine, fintech, blockchain, and new materials.  We are welcoming entrepreneurial projects that would like to seek Chinese capital or plan to grow in China.

This Summit will invite over hundreds of well-known Chinese and US investment-related institutions and venture capital funds to participate in the project-connection. Outstanding projects will be selected and have the opportunity for public road show during the summit or in-depth private talks with investment institutions, depending on your preference. Other excellent projects that are not selected due to the quota will also be recommended to investors through various online and offline roadshows held by BCIC.

To help projects and talents in U.S. return to China for development, the summit will also invite senior guests in the field of investment and entrepreneurship to discuss with participants the current progress of connection between Chinese capital and US innovation projects, and the latest development of various high-tech industries. We sincerely invite elite representatives from various industries to share with audience their industries’ technological development trends and opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship.

If you cannot participate in this summit, you can also contact us. Boston Chinese Investment Club (BCIC) venture capital platform is collecting projects continuously. There is no upper limit for scale of financing and no restriction for financing stage. Online and offline road shows of capital connection are held regularly by BCIC. Since the launch of the investment project connecting service in 2017, BCIC has successfully assisted multiple teams in financing or expanding their business. It has also received favorable comments from all parties and proposals of cooperation from many institutions. Donghu New Technology Development Zone, Wuhan, China

Donghu New Technology Development Zone, also referred to as Optics Valley or Guanggu, is a New Technology Development Zone in Wuhan, China. It was established in 1988. In recent years, Ningbo has issued “Talent New Policy 25”, “3315 Plan”, “Financing Talents Plan”, “Extensive 3315 Plan”, “Talents Settlement New Policy” and other packages of talents policies. The amount of funding for excellent experts can reach up to 100 million yuan ($14m) while providing unlimited funding for outstanding talents and projects.  Nanhu Fund Town, Jiaxing, China

 Nanhu District of Jiaxing is the first group of provincial-level financial innovation demonstration zones in Zhejiang Province and is also home to the first group of characteristic towns in Zhejiang Province—the Nanhu Funding Town. It has unique geographical advantages and a good economic foundation and financial ecology. The town responded to the call of the Central Government, insisted on serving the real economy, and focused on aggregating private equity fund industry. It first proposed to build a fund town serving real economy in China and cooperated with the two supporting of “financial service support + comprehensive service support”. With a view to building a leading national leader in the delta region, the financial innovation demonstration zone brings together new financial elements to serve the real economy.

Boston Chinese Investment Club, formerly The Chinese Finance Association Boston Chapter, with over 20 years history, serves as a Boston centered platform for exchanging ideas, knowledge and information for 3000+ active members in US and China. MIT China Development Student Initiative (CDSI) is a student group founded in 2008 by MIT undergraduates who shared a deep interest in the development of modern China, as well as importance of education in technology, service, and leadership for students in China and around the world. CDSI aims to provide high-quality, sustainable programs related to China’s development for the MIT community, as well as the training of leadership, entrepreneurship, and international citizenship for prospective Chinese students.
