On November 17th, we invite Todd Millay, Managing Director of Choate Investment Advisors, one of Fortune’s best wealth management companies in the United States. He will talk about the investment philosophy of Choate, preferred regional allocation, and choosing the best type of vehicle and funds. He will also talk about the focused investment themes Choate believes in right now, as well as views towards investing in the Asia and Chinese markets. Choate’s investment focuses on optimal asset allocation, utilizes a series of models and fundamental analysis to form their own asset allocation process.

Bio of Todd Millay

Todd Millay is the Managing Director of Choate Investment Advisors.  Todd oversees the investment strategy and works closely with Choate’s wealth management team of lawyers, tax preparers and trusts and estates administrators to provide clients with integrated solutions to their wealth management needs.

Prior to joining Choate, Todd was a partner at CCC Alliance, a consortium of family offices. He also served as the founding Executive Director of the Wharton Global Family Alliance, the research center on family wealth and family business at the Wharton School.  As a consultant in the Boston and Madrid offices of McKinsey & Company for five years, Todd specialized in serving financial institutions.  Todd served as Managing Clerk for the Honorable Sandra L. Lynch on the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit after graduating from Yale Law School.

Todd is the Chairman of the Board of InnerCity Weightlifting, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing urban violence by working with young people at the highest risk. Todd also serves on the investment committee of the Noble & Greenough School.
